Fall sports are almost here!

August 18th, 2009 at Tue, 18th, 2009 at 1:30 pm by Admin

Starting tomorrow morning, football players from around the state will be donning their shoulder pads and helmets and getting ready for the first day of practice.

I’ll be there this week checking out the teams and bringing you word on all of the teams, from the smallest (Highland Christian) to the largest (the defending Wesco North champions, Marysville-Pilchuck) and everyone else.

While at first it’s strange to imagine previewing the fall season on the first day of practice, these players and coaches have worked hard all summer to get ready for the next few weeks. Check back here often for photos and tidbits from each of the teams.

The rest of the fall teams begin practice Aug. 24.
