12:42 p.m. stolen vehicle: a 2000 Mazda 626, red in color, was stolen in the 6400 block of 50th Drive NE.
1:50 p.m. theft: A Cell phone was stolen out of a community transit bus.
2:50 p.m. burglary: Copper was stolen from generators in a fenced in area in the 16100 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
4:15 p.m. shoplift: Two female juveniles were caught shoplifting in the 9900 block of State Avenue.

OCTOBER 13
6:35 a.m. VEHICLE PROWL: Two vehicle were prowled in the 7100 block of 35th Place NE.
9:10 a.m. vehicle prowl: A wallete was taken from a vehicle in the 6700 block of 37th Place NE.
9:47 a.m. VEHICLE PROWL: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6700 block of Armar Road.
10:07 a.m. theft: A theft was reported in the 7300 block of 76th Street NE.
10:19 a.m. burglary: A burglary occurred in the 4300 block of 76th Street NE.
12:07 p.m. VEHICLE PROWL: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 7400 block of 30th Street NE.
1:17 p.m. vehicle prowl: The glove compartment of a vehicle was rummaged through in the 6000 block of 51st Street NE. It appears nothing was stolen, no damage to vehicle.
1:22 p.m. VEHICLE PROWL: Medications were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of 73rd Place NE.
4:13 p.m. VANDALISM/MISCHIEF: Juveniles were kicking over a Coca Cola machine in the 16300 block of Twin Lakes Avenue. The machine has been knocked over for several days. Juveniles fled when  complainant confronted them.
4:50 p.m. burglary: Multiple firearms were stolen in the 6800 block of 77th Avenue NE. There was no forced entry.
9:37 p.m. VANDALISM/MISCHIEF: Reporting party states that a co-worker keyed her car in the 600 block of State Avenue.
9:47 p.m. VANDALISM/MISCHIEF: A vehicle drove by and threw an egg at the reporting party in the 500 block of State Avenue. No damage was done and the egg washed off the building.

OCTOBER 12
5:03 a.m. Stolen Vehicle: A white Chevy Cavalier was stolen in the 7000 block of 47th Avenue NE.
5:48 a.m. VEHICLE PROWL: Medication and a stereo were taken from a vehicle in the 7000 block of 61st Drive NE.
7:16 a.m. vehicle prowl: A laptop was stolen from a work vehicle in the 7800 block of 67th Street NE.
9:10 a.m. VANDALISM/graffiti: Tagging was found in the 4900 block of 67th Street NE.
9:30 a.m. theft: Copper wire and plumber’s piping were stolen from the 8300 block of 84th Street NE.
9:46 a.m. Burglary: A burglary was reported in the 14100 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
12:37 p.m. shoplift: An adult shoplifter stole two digital cameras in the 3800 block of 116th Street NE.
2:03 p.m. theft: A theft was reported in the 1200 block of State Avenue.
2:07 p.m. VEHICLE RECOVERY: A stolne vehcile out of Mount Vernon was recovered at a tow lot in the 5500 block of 47th Avenue NE. The owner was notified via voice mail.
3:06 p.m. Theft: A handbag was stolen in the 1300 block of State Avenue.
4:33 p.m. burglary: A burglary occurred in the 6000 block of 78th Avenue NE.
5:12 p.m. theft: Approximately $2000 was stolen from the 16800 block of Twin Lakes Avenue.

OCTOBER 11
12:06 a.m. robbery: Suspects took a juvenile males bicycle in the 9800 block of State Avenue.
8:08 a.m. THEFT: A mailbox was stolen in the 5800 block of 70th Street NE.
1:19 p.m. vehicle recovery: A gray 1993 Honda Accord was recovered by Tulalip Police on a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Fourth Street NE. The vehicle was towed.
1:55 p.m. VEHICLE PROWL: A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 6300 block of 152nd Street NE. ID and credit cards were recovered at the Shell Station on 172 Street.
4:11 p.m. shoplift: An adult male was taken into custody for shoplifting in the 1200 block of State Avenue.
4:53 p.m. stolen vehicle: A brown 1999 Cadillac was reported stolen in the 5000 block of 73rd Place NE. Vehicle is not stolen, but repossessed.

OCTOBER 10
4:49 a.m. A white Camaro was ramming shopping carts in the parking lot in the 1300 block of State Avenue. The vehicle left before police arrived.
8:38 a.m. stolen vehicle: A 2004 Harley Davidson was stolen in the 6100 block of 64th Street NE.
12:20 p.m. vehicle prowl: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 16800 block of Twin Lakes Avenue.
12:23 p.m. theft: A theft occurred in the 5200 block of 87th Avenue NE.
2:35 p.m. theft: A wallet was stolen from purse inside the restaurant in the 10000 block of Shoultes Road.
5:16 p.m. theft: A theft was reported in the 4100 block of 80th Street NE.
6:08 p.m. shoplift: Two juveniles were caught shoplifting in the 6600 block of 64th Street NE.
6:19 p.m. shoplift: A female was caught shoplifting in the 9300 block of State Avenue.
6:25 p.m. vandalism: A red four-wheeler was doing doughnuts in the grass in the 4400 block of 116th Street NE.
7:39 p.m. theft: A theft occurred in the 9100 block of 61st Drive NE.
7:44 p.m. theft: Tools were stolen from a truck in the 1900 block of Seventh Street.
9:42 p.m. Juveniles stole multiple items from the 1200 block of State Avenue. They left in a white car.
10:34 p.m. theft: A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Cedar Avenue.

OCTOBER 9
8:31 a.m. VANDALISM/MISCHIEF: A Coke machine was knocked over at the south end of the park in the 16300 block of Twin Lakes Avenue.
9:11 a.m. Graffiti: Graffiti was found in the 1600 block of Seventh Street.
10:34 a.m. VANDALISM/MISCHIEF: A vehicle was vandalized by reporting parties boyfriend in the 4300 block of 76th Street NE.
3:33 p.m. theft: A female took items from a store in the 9500 block of State Avenue. She was later apprehended and confessed to the theft.
6:46 p.m. theft in progress: A male was seen placing possible stolen items into his vehicle in the 100 block of Marysville Mall Way. It was later discovered that employees did not see anyone in the store that appeared suspicious.

Oct. 8
1:22 a.m.: Subject was caught prowling vehicles in the 1300 block of  State Avenue.
4:24 a.m.: Subjects were seen loading items into a truck in the area of 82nd Avenue and Ingraham Boulevard.
7:31 a.m.: Cash and medications were stolen in the 1100 block of  State Avenue.
10:12 a.m.: A passport was taken during a vehicle prowl in the 16000 block of  of Twin Lakes Boulevard.
10:33 a.m.: A theft occurred in the 3700 block of  88th Street NE.
12:02 p.m.: Graffiti was found in the 5800 block of 152nd Street NE.
3:28 p.m.: A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 9400 block of  State Avenue.
4 p.m.: Mail was stolen in the 3700 block of  68th Drive NE.

12:19 a.m.: A radio was stolen during a vehicle prowl in the 9800 block of  State Avenue.
4:27 a.m.: A company truck was stolen in the 3200 block of  76th Drive NE.
7:29 a.m.: A female stole a DVD and fake nails in the 200 block of  Marysville Mall Way.
8:58 a.m.: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 5500 block of  87th Avenue NE. Credit cards were stolen.
9:25 a.m.: Someone broke a mailbox off and took an American flag in the 7200 block of  67th Avenue NE.
10:42 a.m.: Report of mail stolen in the 700 block of 55th Avenue NE.
11:27 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 10300 block of  State Avenue.
11:54 a.m.: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 7600 block of  33rd Street NE.
1:18 p.m.: Mail was stolen in the 700 block of 55th Avenue NE.
4:01 p.m.: A male etched profanity into the passenger side door of a car in the 1200 block of  State Avenue.
5:53 p.m.: A customer stole an employees purse from a locker in the 1300 block of State Avenue.
5:57 p.m.: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 16300 block of  Twin Lakes Avenue.
6:21 p.m.: An aquaintance stole reporting parties Xbox 360, several games and DVDs in the 100 block of Beach Avenue.  The  aquaintance turned over pawn receipts to reporting party.

Oct. 5
8:35 a.m.: A silver GMC Sierra was stolen in the 1500 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
1:39 p.m.: A wallet was stolen in the 6400 block of  60th Drive NE.
2:15 p.m.: A burglary occurred in the 3100 block of  83rd Avenue NE.
4:42 p.m.: Two female adults were taken into custody in the 9600 block of  State Avenue.
5:12 p.m.: A suspect stole a Playstation 3 and fled in the 600 block of  Ash Avenue.
5:53 p.m.: A burglary  occurred in the 1200 block of  Cedar Avenue.
6:15 p.m.: ID was teken during a vehicle prowl in the 6300 block of  152nd Street NE.
7:12 p.m.: An attempted burglary was reported in the 7900 block of  61st Place NE.
7:47 p.m.: A briefcase with checks inside was stolen in the 6400 block of  88th Street NE.
8:14 p.m.: A theft was reported in the 1200 block of  State Avenue.
10:11 a.m.: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 1500 block of  Ninthe Street NE.
10:25 p.m.: A trailer was broken into in the 4500 block of  152nd Street NE. Firearms and tools were stolen.

Oct. 4
6:18 p.m.: A rear license plate was stolen in the area of Grove Street and 51st Avenue NE.
3:37 p.m.: A bathing suit and shampoo were taken from a locker in the 6400 block of  60th Drive NE.
3:45 p.m.: Five juveniles were throwing apples at reporting partys  house in the 6500 block of 60th Place NE. It is an on going problem.
8:55 p.m.: Two  juveniles threw something at a house in the 5800 block of 64th Avenue NE.

Oct. 3
8:05 a.m.: A theft occurred in the 1100 block of  State Avenue.
12:48 p.m.: A bicycle was stolen in the 4300 block of  76th Street NE.
3:42 p.m.: A battery was stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Cedar Avenue.
5:15 p.m.: A burglary was reported in the 12400 block of  State Avenue.
8:55 p.m.: Two juveniles threw something at a house in the 5800 block of  64th Avenue NE.

7:46 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 5500 block of  of 47th Avenue NE.

7:10 a.m.: A red bag with black straps that was leaning against a  fence was stolen in the area of 36th Place NE. and 68th Drive NE.
7:27 a.m.: A laptop and assorted tools were taken from a work truck in the 6700 block of  74th Drive NE.
8:08 a.m.: A theft was reported in the 6800 block of 37th Place NE.
9:38 a.m.: A vehicle was broken into in the 7300 block of 38th Street NE.
10:35 a.m.: Two bicycles were stolen in the 6000 block of 83rd Street.
12:18 p.m.: A fence was damaged in the 3200 block of 82nd Drive NE.

Sept. 27
4:08 a.m.: A male refused to pay cab fare in the 200 block of Beach Avenue. Call was then canceled due to payment.
7:16 a.m.: A propane tank was stolen off of a travel trailer in the 7200 of block 52nd Street NE.
8:36 a.m.: Holiday decorations were taken off of a porch in the 1200 of block Cedar Avenue.
10:18 a.m.: A stolen vehicle was recovered in the area of Ninth Street and Delta Avenue.
10:22 a.m.: A vehicle was egged in the area of 50th Place NE and 67th Avenue NE.
11:36 a.m.: A lock was broken in the 1200 block of State Avenue.
12:48 p.m.: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6300 block of 152nd Street NE.
1:39 p.m.: Reporting party arrived to find a person coming out of a window in the area of Fourth Strett and Alder Avenue. Suspect fled.
7:54 p.m.: Beer was stolen in the 300 block of Marysville Mall Way.

Sept. 26
3:14 a.m.: An attempted auto theft occurred in the 6200 block of 83rd Place NE.
3:45 a.m.: Two bicycles were returned in the 6200 block of 83rd Place NE.
8:42 a.m.: A pressure washer was stolen from a vehicle in the 4800 block of 67th Street NE.
11:51 a.m.: A dine and dash was reported in the 1200 block of Fourth Street.
11:55 a.m.: A juvenile male stole beer in the 10300 block of State Avenue. He left in red Toyota.
1:59 p.m.: A radio, badges, and other gear was stolen from a vehicle in the area of 47th Avenue NE and Grove Street.
1:59 p.m.: A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 7700 block of 29th Place NE.
4:53 p.m.: A male pushed reporting party and forced his way into the house in the 4900 block of 64th Street NE.
6:01 p.m.: A bicycle was stolen from the 6600 block of 64th Street NE. Suspect was taken into custody, bike returned to owner.
7:35 p.m.: An attempted shoplift occurred in the 1200 block of State Avenue. A cart was left with items at the door.

Sept. 25
9:26 a.m.: A wallet was found and returned in the 1600 block of Grove Street.
10:25 a.m.: Buyers presented a bad check in the 3500 block of 136th Street NE. Vehicle stolen.
12:37 p.m.: A quad was stolen in the 6400 block of 56th Place NE.
2:42 p.m.: A theft was reported in the 200 block of Marysville Mall Way.
3:25 p.m.: An adult female shoplifter was taken into custody in the 16800 block of Twin Lakes Avenue.
3:42 p.m.: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 1500 block of Third Street.
5:24 p.m.: An adult female shoplifter was taken into custody in the 6600 block of 64th Street NE.
10:04 p.m.: Two shoplifters left the 3700 block of 116 Street NE in a black Nissan. Approximately $700 of merchandise stolen.  Two adult female shoplifters were aprehended.
10:31 p.m.: Two males threw a clay pot at reporting partys door in the 1600 block of 10th Street.

3:21 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen in the 4900 block of 61st Drive NE.
7:43 a.m.: Letters were taken off of a sign in the 15000 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
11:47 a.m.: A vehicle prowl occurred in the 6500 block of 64th Place NE.
11:50 a.m.: A ring was lost in the 3700 block of 88th Street NE.
3:01 p.m.: Two bicycles were found in the 8900 block of 60th Drive NE.

3:36 p.m.: An occupied stolen vehicle was recovered in the 9400 block of 67th Avenue NE. The suspect was transported to jail.

5:44 p.m.: Reporting party believes someone stole his four-month-old Siberian Husky in the 2500 block of 169th Place NE.
5:47 p.m.: A paintball gun was stolen in the 2700 block of 179th Place NE.
6:28 p.m.: An adult female was taken into custody for shoplifting in the 6600 block of 64th Street NE.
7:04 p.m.: A stolen vehicle out of Lynnwood was recovered in the 3700 block of 83rd Avenue NE.
7:41 p.m.: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 1200 block of State Avenue.
10:32 p.m.: A juvenile was seen tagging a wall in the area of Tenth Street and Beach Avenue.
11:22 p.m.: A hit and run occurred in the parking lot in the 300 block of Marysville Mall Way. Paint was scraped from truck bumper.

Sept. 17
4:56 p.m.: A stolen vehicle out of Everett was located in the 5900 block of 87th Avenue NE. Registered owner responded to take possession of the vehicle.
5:56 p.m.: An apple was thrown at a vehicle in the 6400 block of 88th Street NE.

1:41 p.m.: A vehicle was found crashed and unoccupied in the 6200 block of 70th Street NE. Marysville PD assisted county by attempting to contact the  registered owner to see if vehicle was stolen.
2:42 p.m.: Graffiti was found on a traffic sign on the corner of Ninth Street and State Avenue.
3:44 p.m.: Two males in the area who had vandalized location in the past in the 900 block of State Avenue. No graffiti seen on this occasion.

8:06 p.m.: Stereo faceplate and car stereo remote were taken from a vehicle in the 18100 block of 25th Avenue NE.

Aug. 6
3:11 a.m.: Reporting party’s car was hit by a paintball in the 5900 block of Sunnyside Boulevard.
1:40 a.m.: Forced entry occurred in the 900 block of Alder Avenue. A Hispanic male 6-foot tall came in saying he was the police and stole the TV. He left on a scooter. Suspect was detained.
3:52 p.m.: Two juveniles in custody for shoplifting in the 3900 block of 116th Street NE.
5:10 p.m.: Four teenagers took  bike in the 4400 block of 116th Street NE. Bike was returned to victim (which was loaned to suspect).
5:29 p.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Fifth Street. Reporting party was advised the vehicle was towed.
5:44 p.m.: An adult female was taken into custody for shoplifting in the 1200 block of State Avenue.

TULALIP — Two years after retiring from the post, Jay Goss is expected to resume his duties as Tulalip Tribal Police chief starting Sept. 1.
Goss’ original tenure as chief of the Tulalip Tribal Police Department lasted from 2001-2007, and Tulalip Tribes Chair Mel Sheldon reported that Goss, who “left our department under really good terms,” signed a three-year contract with the Tribal government after they’d called him.
Goss’ more-than-35-year career in law enforcement has included 20 years as a special agent for the Department of Interior’s Federal Law Enforcement Agency, as well as stints as a police academy instructor for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, a detective for the Mercer Island Police Department, a military police officer for the U.S. Army, a police captain for the Quinault Tribe and a police chief for the Colville Tribe. During his time as the police chief for the Tulalip Tribes, he saw their police department grow from eight to 25 officers, and created an Explorer Scout program for young people interested in law enforcement.
Goss also worked with state Rep. John McCoy to pass legislation requiring tribal police officers to be state certified, and requiring tribes to obtain liability insurance and waive sovereign nation immunity if their police departments are sued or their officers are accused of misconduct. Scott Smith, the Tulalip Tribal Police chief from early in 2008 until he stepped down from his post July 10 of this year, worked with Snohomish County Sheriff John Lovick to ensure that Tulalip Tribal Police officers met all of the same qualifications required for Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies.
“Jay Goss returns to the Tulalip force as the Tribes face new challenges from Tribal population growth and an expanding economic base,” Sheldon said. “He will oversee the expansion of community-based policing programs to include growth in patrol services and dispatch, implementing drug task force initiatives, and implementing new processes and partnerships in criminal investigation, fish and wildlife enforcement, and emergency management.”
The Tulalip Police Department provides police patrol services for the 22,000-acre Tulalip Reservation and Quil Ceda Village, and enforces fish and wildlife regulations in the Tribes’ usual and accustomed fishing and game management areas throughout Puget Sound. The department also provides emergency management services in cooperation with the state and other tribes, and supports Tribal Court with transport and bailiff services.
